Southern Colorado's Leader in Hospice Care
The lasting effects of COVID-19 on our community are innumerable, and the loss for many of our friends and neighbors is indescribable. The “Light the Water” event will be a unifying staple to help our community as a whole honor families, friends, and loved ones lost and affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Community members and business will have the opportunity to register to have a name(s) read during this intimate ceremony. Registration includes a personalized floating lantern and candle to be placed on the water during the memorial ceremony and a commemorative “Light the Water” decorative lantern.
The event will begin with brief commentary from various local leaders regarding the effects of COVID-19 on our community and a message of solidarity from our Bereavement Manager. Our team of Board Certified Music Therapists will provide ambiance as the names begin to be read and lanterns are place on the Riverwalk.
