PUEBLO — One of the largest hospice organizations in Southern Colorado will soon open its doors at a new location.
Work is nearly complete on the Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Palliative Care Center on Valley Drive in north Pueblo.
The building will be the group’s new headquarters and will provide bereavement services for the local community.
“So this building will definitely be a hub for all of those taking care of patients at the end of life,” said President and CEO Tarrah Lowry.
Construction is expected to be complete by February.
